At Free to Move Training we offer fun and fitness using a variety of equipment such as the BodyBolster, Resistance Bands, Foam rollers, Fitballs the Pilates ‘Reformer’ and the Pilates Trapeze Table.
Keeping fit helps us to attain or maintain a healthy weight and strengthens our muscles and bones. It helps improve our resistance to infection and even to diseases such as diabetes and cancer and heart disease.
Clinical Pilates selectively targets tight and weakened muscles. It emphasises core stability, flexibility, balance, coordination, breathing and endurance rather than just power.
The Feldenkrais Method improves your awareness of how to utilise the whole body more efficiently. It helps increase your flexibility in a unique way, without the need for stretching. Lessons in the Feldenkrais Method expand your body awareness assisting you to find new and more efficient ways to move. As you learn to let go of unneccessary tension, everyday movements such as bending, reaching, twisting, rolling over or getting up off the floor become simpler, lighter and easier.
